Projects the 2024-2025 Laurelwood Neighborhood Association is working on:

Laurelwood Neighborhood Park improvements:
Benches/Tables replacement
Replace Fountain
Replace playground sand with bark
Replace missing playground equipment
Paint poles
Replace planks on walk bridge
​Reseed or replace grass

​Laurelwood Parkway tree replant

Requesting City to conduct a Traffic Impact Study from Ladera/Market to Ladera/72nd to determine if a Traffic or Pedestrian Signal can be installed to slow down Traffic and make it safe for Families and Children to cross Ladera to attend SR Marmon School and Services (Walmart, etc.).  


The wall adjacent to Ladera Dr. from Market St east to the Storage and 72nd St. along the Neighborhood needs repaired and painted

Drive-thru Unser and Ladera.

The wall adjacent to Ladera Dr. from Market St east to the Storage needs addressed.

​Laurelwood Parkway Entrance Walls: There's a number of cracks on both walls that will need to be addressed. There are a total of 13 fractures. 
Projects the 2019-2020 Laurelwood Neighborhood Association is working on:

Ladera / Market Crosswalk: Analyst Elaine Romero was tasked to address the Crosswalk with the City. Pending - 2022

​Unser to 72nd- speed limit reduction from 40 to 35. Completed

Neighborhood Watch type Signs: The Association purchased and installed additional Watch type signs to cover the balance of Laurelwood Neighborhood Entrances: Laurelwood Parkway / Ladera; Hanover / Market; 72nd / Lakewood; 72nd / Rosewood. Thank you LNA Secretary Dagmar Nelson. completed
